One of the biggest marketing challenges is keeping up with the steady stream of content required to be active and engaging on all your platforms. I’ve implemented solutions at Becker Library to not only provide a steady stream of content but go beyond basic event/service promotion with content that’s helpful on a deeper level, then repackage it for multiple outlets to “get the most bang for our buck.” Strategies include all-staff brainstorms to pitch and refine ideas, an editorial calendar to plan content and share the work of writing among staff, and creating e-newsletters to push content directly to users.
