In Your Face!: Successful Design Strategies for Engaging Your Users in Multiple Mediums

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

This presentation will teach librarians how to engage, cultivate, and enrich users’ experiences in the physical and virtual library with basic design strategies. This active learning session will provide ideas for themes, branding, and graphics that will have a lasting impact on your library users, from simple signage to in-depth instructional videos. You do not have to be a commercial artist to achieve professional results! We will share our positive experiences with concepts of spatial awareness, revamping service areas, and copyright and creative commons issues…and how we learned the hard way about the importance of proofreaders and editors.
