Missouri River Regional Library (MRRL) faced a crisis when their circulation numbers began to decrease, so they got creative and started thinking outside of the box… by creating Book Box! But having a unique idea was not the final solution, especially if no one knew about it! MRRL utilized a multi-faceted marketing campaign to saturate the community, increasing circulation and reaching both new and inactive cardholders. Participants will leave this presentation with the tools to create their own Book Box program and have the strategies in place to implement a marketing campaign for any initiative at their own library.
