Jennifer has worked in higher education for over fifteen years, specializing in marketing, communications, student programming, event planning, student organization management and advising, and facility management. She oversees the implementation of all marketing efforts on behalf of UW Libraries, including websites, social media presence, advertising pieces, newsletters, multimedia pieces, news releases, etc. Before her work with academic libraries, she worked in student affairs, where she was the Associate Director for the Center for Student Involvement & Leadership with the Wyoming Union.

Kirk holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Recording Industry from Middle Tennessee State University. She moved out to the mountain west more than ten years ago to escape the humidity of the south and enjoy the actual winter months. When she's not working, you can find her out in nature or at random music venues across the country.
