Gene Shimshock is the Vice President, Community for Patron Point, a library marketing automation SaaS provider. Previously, Gene was VP, Global Marketing at Innovative Interfaces where he and his team were responsible for promoting the Innovative corporate brand and marketing the company's product portfolio. He has been working with libraries for over twenty years and carries this affinity and a passion for technology into his work. Gene's academic accomplishments include a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Connecticut, a BA in Liberal Arts from Fairfield University, and an MS in Financial Management from Fairfield University.
